Appts comprises a handle (28) enclosing a shaft (29) which drives a rotor (22) forming a nip with a tongue or lip (26) on a mounting plate (30) through which the shaft (29) projects. A cylinder for a bone remover has many transverse peripheral recesses each with at least one sharp edge and pref. two sharp edges. Pref. the tongue or lip (26) is resiliently mounted (25) by screws inside O-rings. Opt. the rotor (22) is constructed to score pork buttocks.
