PURPOSE:To improve service by setting the data of the transmission sound of each system, and transmitting the corresponding transmission sound only when the selected system is matched with the system indicated by collected announced information. CONSTITUTION:In a mobile telephone set, the data of the transmission sound or an incoming sound peculiar to each mobile telephone system are preliminarily inputted and set by an inputting and setting means 1. On the other hand, a base station housed in each mobile telephone system intermittently transmits the announced information constituted of radio channel information and system information or the like in a fixed cycle by using a control carrier, and the mobile telephone set operates waiting for any base station by an announced information collecting means 3.
