PURPOSE:To rotate only a male screw member and to make a corresponding connecting and disconnecting hand move back and forth by using a feed screw mechanism in a back-and-forth motion unit of each connecting and disconnecting hand and by driving the feed screw mechanism of each unit with one and the same endless travelling body and by operating a clutch selectively. CONSTITUTION:Each connecting and disconnecting hand 3 is provided with a back-and-forth motion unit 7 wherein a feed screw mechanism is used being constituted of a male screw member 10 which is rotated and a female screw member 11 which fits in the male screw member 10 and which moves back and forth with the rotation of the male screw member 10. And, one and the same endless travelling body (timing belt) 14 is laid over driving force transmitting sections (pulley) 13, each installed for the male screw member 10 of each back-and-forth motion unit 7. The drive is transmitted to the pulley 13 of each male screw member 10 through this timing belt 14. By this method, the number of accessories can be reduced and only a small additional space is necessary besides a space for back-and-forth strokes and thereby the entire body can be reduced in both size and weight.
