PURPOSE:To improve the precision of an audio signal while suppressing an increase in circuit scale. CONSTITUTION:An expanding circuit 1300 which generates an echo signal B' by expanding and converting a compressed and delayed signal D such as the audio signal A has a detecting circuit 13b which prepares a 1st current signal F for controlling the conversion rate, a voltage-controlled type current adjusting circuit 222 which accepts a voltage signal E as a control signal and converts the 1st current signal F into a 2nd current signal F' at a ratio corresponding to the voltage value of the control signal, and an amplifying circuit 13a which performs the expanding conversion at a conversion rate corresponding to the 2nd current signal F'. Consequently, an electronic variable volume function which is strong to a noise can be added on the smallest scale. |
