PURPOSE:To provide a manufacturing method for an electrode plate for a lead- acid battery in which the electrode plate can be cured and hardened in a short time, in which production efficiency can be improved, in which facilities for curing and hardening the electrode plate can be compact, and in which facility cost is low. CONSTITUTION:Electrode plate paste is cured and hardened by hydrothermal reaction at a high temperature of 100 deg.C or more. Time for curing and hardening can thus be reduced largely, and a large number of products can be produced in a specified time in compact facilities. Because of compactness of the facilities, curing and hardening conditions are easy to control, so quality of the electrode plates is improved. Strength between active material is increased, and life is increased. |
