The grab (10) has a head (11) with linkages (12,13) connected to the load, and a vertical rod (18) connected to the lifting rod (19) by coupling (25). The lower end (20) of the vertical rod is connected to the linkages by rods (21,22). Each linkage (12,13) is connected at the outer end (15) to the top extension (16) of shutters (1,2) whose face (4), with reinforcements (6) forms the mould for the pouring of concrete to form the wall (3). The supervisor's platform (8) has a safety rail (9). When the grab is lifted by the rod (18), the rods (14) push the linkages to separate the shutters as they are lifted. The grab may be used to position shuttering, by disconnecting the had (20) from the lifting rod, allowing the linkages (12,13) to droop and allow them to be set to a desired width apart.
