PURPOSE:To prevent the hardware from being reset unnecessarily owing to a momentary break of power supply or a noise and to eliminate the unnecessary storing operation of the nonvolatile memory. CONSTITUTION:In this control method for the nonvolatile memory 12 consisting of a readable/writable memory and an electrically rewritable read-only memory in combination, when a storing operation signal PRDY for executing the storing operation is inputted to the nonvolatile memory 12, the storing operation signal PRDY is temporarily inputted to a register 14 and an MPU 11 is interrupted with the signal stored in the register 14. Even if a reset signal RS is set to the register 14 thereafter, the storing operation is executed by the nonvolatile memory 12 when the MPU 11 is interrupted. |
