<p>PURPOSE: To attain the reduction of higher harmonic wave amplitude caused by a horizontally deflected current by reducing the full length in axial line direction rather than the outer diameter of high voltage winding wire and arranging plural diodes around a position in the axial line direction. CONSTITUTION: A generated high voltage UH for serially connecting a high voltage rectifier diode 7 to a high voltage winding wire 6 is supplied to a picture tube 8. A horizontally deflected current ia, on which a higher harmonic wave iOW is superimposed, flows through a deflection coil 13. The winding wire 6 forms a vibration circuit while being tuned at the odd number order higher harmonic wave of horizontal frequency together with a winding wire capacitance Ce. A coupling capacitance Ck is operated between the high voltage winding wire 6 and a primary winding wire 3. Therefore, n (the number of winding wires 6)×Ck is operated between both the winding wires as a whole. However, the length of structure in the axial line direction is reduced from 0.5 to 0.85 smaller than the outer diameter of winding wire 6. Thus, the value of (n) is reduced and the coupling capacitance between the winding wires 6 is reduced. Therefore, the capacitive current amplitude to generate the amplitude of higher harmonic wave caused by the horizontally deflected current can be reduced as well.</p> |
