<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate alignment required for coupling the monitor light from a laser array with a light receiving element. CONSTITUTION:A light shielding part 14 protrudes from a fixed part 16 and extends like a wall in the arranging direction R of a laser oscillator 22. The light shielding part 14 is interposed between a light receiving element 12 and one output plane 24 of the laser oscillator 22 emitting a non-monitor light L2 in order to prevent the non-monitor light L2 from impinging, as a crosstalk light C, on a light receiving element 12. When APC(Automatic Power Control) driving is effected in order to sustain the intensity of optical output from the laser oscillator 22 at a constant level, it can be achieved with higher accuracy by allowing only a monitor light L1 to impinge on the light receiving element 12 and blocking impingement of the crosstalk light C thereon.</p> |
