PURPOSE:To provide a tape for detecting silane having high measuring sensitivity without decreasing an original mechanical strength of a reagent carrier. CONSTITUTION:Silver perchlorate, silver paratoluenesulfonate as coloring reagent and paratoluenesulfonic acid as light-resisting accelerator are carried in a state of dissolution in glycol by a porous cellulose tape containing gas adsorbent such as silica fine powder, etc., among fibers. When the tape is exposed to silane in sampling gas, the silane is dissolved in the glycol to rapidly reduce the silver perchlorate and the silver paratoluenesulfonate existing therein to generate colloidal silver, thereby generating reaction trace. Since the colloidal silver is generated in proportional to a concentration of the silane, an optical concentration of the trace is measured to find a concentration of the silane. |
