PURPOSE:To provide an audio signal correction circuit in which a small sound is easily heard in the case of the presence of background noise without causing hard of hearing of a large sound. CONSTITUTION:After a low frequency component and a high frequency component of an input sound signal 100 whose dynamic range is compressed by a compressor circuit 1 are boosted at a frequency correction circuit 2, the result is attenuated at an attenuator circuit 3 and the result is inputted to an adder circuit 5. Simultaneously the input sound signal 100 is attenuated by an attenuator circuit 4 and inputted to an adder circuit 5. The adder circuit 5 sums signals inputted from the attenuator circuits 3, 4 and outputs the sum as an output sound signal 200. As a level of the input sound signal 100 decreases, the correction in which the dynamic range of the output sound signal 200 is compressed and the low and high sound frequency components are boosted is executed. |
