摘要 PURPOSE:To let an optical spot be a true circle and to improve the track pitch and the linear recording density in a floating type optical head by using the surface light emitting lasers as a light source and a photodetector element. CONSTITUTION:A surface light emitting laser 2 is fixed at the rear end part of a slider 1 and floats with a specified distance (p) from an optical disk. Then, a tracking action is performed by laser light radiated from a recording/ reproducing light emitting part 3a. Meanwhile, other light emitting parts 3b, 3c and 3d are positioned on each prescribed track. Then, a clock pit is reproduced and a master clock being a standard of a system is produced by a PLL. The address information is premastered right above the track center as a pit of height (p). The address pits are read by the parts 3a and 3b, and the prescribed data are reproduced and recorded. The reflection factor of a recording part varies and can be immediately verified by the parts 3c and 3d right after recording. Then, the rewriting of data is completed with one time rotation of the disk. Thus, the 2-bit parallel processing is attained at an extremely high speed.
