<p>PURPOSE:To perform accurate diagnosis on occlusal forces by forming a pressure sensitive sheet into a horseshoe shape along the configuration of a dental arch, and enabling an arm portion branching from a base portion to be secured along the semicircular outer peripheral edge of an occlusal force diagnostic sheet. CONSTITUTION:An occlusal force diagnostic sheet 26 is secured to a holder 28 made of cardboard. The holder 28 has a roughly Y-shaped upper plate portion 30 and a lower plate portion 32 formed integrally with each other and is folded at a folding line provided at base portions 30a, 32a so that the upper plate portion 30 is laid on top of the lower plate portion 32. Arm portions 30b, 32b bifurcated from the respective base portions 30a, 32a of the upper and lower plate portions 30, 32 are curved along the roughly semicircular outer peripheral edge of the sheet 26 and the holder 28 is secured to the sheet 26. The base portions 30a, 32a of the holder 28 are put in the mouth of a patient and the sheet 26 is evenly applied to the upper part of the teeth of the upper jaw.</p> |
