PURPOSE: To fix chloride salt of radioactive waste containing hazardous substance such as radioactive nuclide, for permanent disposal. CONSTITUTION: This is a fixing method of waste chloride salt containing radioactive nuclide such as cesium, strontium and hazardous substance such as barium, at first natron intermediate containing no water content is formed out of silica, alumina, and sodium hydroxide, it is mixed with waste salt, or waste salt contacted with zeolite for concentrating radioactive nuclide and hazardous substance, thereafter they are heated under pressure, and by forming natron, waste salt, radioactive nuclide, and hazardous substance are confined to its cage construction.
