PURPOSE:To prevent tracking error of a head, and improve the shock resistance in tracking by reducing the vibration and noise of a motor without reducing generated torque, and stabilizing the operation of the control system of a magnetic head actuator. CONSTITUTION:In a brushless DC spindle motor which drives a disc-shaped recording medium such as a hard disc, an optical disc, etc., the cylindrical rotor magnet 5a is arranged displacing the center in the direction of a rotary shaft by 5%-40% of the length of the cylindrical section of itself from the center in rotary shaft direction of an armature coil 2a, and the cylindrical rotor magnet 5a is magnetized obliquely at an inclination of 5-40 deg.. |
