PURPOSE:To provide excellent dimension stability, heat resistance, and a mechanical characteristic in light weight, by forming a housing from resin composition including respective specific semi-aromatic polyamide, denatured polyolefin, and polyamide 12. CONSTITUTION:The housing of a connector is formed from resin composition including the following semi-aromatic polyamide (A) of 50-92wt. parts, denaturated polyolefine (B) of 5-35wt. parts, and polyamide 12(C) of 3-15wt. parts. Here, the semi-aromatic polyamide (A) has a melting point, measured by a differential scanning calorimeter, of 270 deg.C or higher and 310 deg.C or lower. The denatured polyolefin (B) is obtained by graft-denaturing polyethylene by alpha- and beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid, or its anhydride, or its derivative of 0.05-5mol%. This connector has light weight, small dimensional change due to water absorption, and high heat resistance. |
