PURPOSE: To provide a photosensitive elastomer mixture which can be developed in a water-based medium under loose conditions and dilute with water and has high durability against a printing ink. CONSTITUTION: This mixture contains (a) an elastomer binder, (b) a free radical polymeizable comps. having compatibility with the binder, and (c) a compd. which initiates polymn. by exposure to chemical rays. The binder is soluble or dispersible in water or a water soln., and consists of (A) hydrophobic soft blocks having <-30 deg.C glass transition temp., (B) hydrophilic hard blocks containing basic groups and having >10 deg.C glass transition temp., (C) hydrophobic hard blocks having >50 deg.C glass transition temp. and (X) branched or crosslinked single polymer blocks produced from a unit of a compd. containing two or more vinyl or isopropenyl groups or from a similar compd.
