PURPOSE:To allow simultaneous measurement of a large number of samples while facilitating collection and disposal of the sample by placing sample solutions in a large number of wells having flat bottom made in a plastic microplate and, after drying the sample solution, detecting radioactivity by opposing the wells to a radiation recording plate. CONSTITUTION:A large number of flat bottom wells having diameter of about 3mm and depth of 2-6mm are formed in plastic microplates 50A, 50B at an interval of about 2mm. When the level difference between the surfaces of the plates 50A, 50B and the surface of sample solution is less than 1mm, adjacent sample solutions are mixed and when the level difference is 5mm or above, desired detection results can not be obtained. The sample solution is subjected to hydrophilic treatment for improving uniformity in the well and then the sample solution is injected and dried by the air. An image plate is applied tightly to the plates 50A, 50B for the dried sample and left as it is for a predetermined time and photostimulable luminance(PSL) is then measured by radioluminography using a bio-image analyzer. Used sample is collected along with the plate and disposed.
