PURPOSE:To contrive the reduction of load on a refrigeration device and of electric power consumption by a method wherein raw air is cooled in an evaporative cooling column using the cooled water obtained by heat exchanging with waste gas from a cold insulating tank and is thereafter cooled to a prescribed temperature by conducting heat exchange with gas or liquid gas from the refrigeration device and the cold insulating tank. CONSTITUTION:The raw air is sent from a compressor into an evaporating cooling column 2 for cooling with the waste gas supplied therein through a conduit pipe 16 from a cold insulating tank 10 and then sent through a conduit pipe 20 into a water washing cooling column 1 for heat exchanging with a cooled water supplied therein. From there, the raw air is sent into a heat exchanger 3 for heat exchanging with the gas and liquid gas supplied therein through conduit pipes 17 and 18 from the cold insulating tank 10. The raw air thus cooled is further cooled to a prescribed temperature by a refrigeration device 4 and is thereafter sent through adsorption columns 8 and 9 and then through a conduit pipe 15 back into the cold insulating tank 10. By this air circulating method, the power consumption and load on the refrigeration device can be reduced. |
