PURPOSE: To prevent a pin from being curved as the result of rotation of a pack leading to misalignment by providing, at the top and bottom front edges of a printed wiring board, tabs that extend beyond the overall surface of a connector at the top and bottom of the wiring board. CONSTITUTION: The front edge 12 of a printed wiring board 11 has tabs 30, 31 which extend beyond the overall surface of a connector 17 by respective amounts (c) and (d) at the top and bottom of the wiring board, respectively. The tabs 30, 31 are spaced by respective intervals (s), (t) from the socket (pin receiving) part of the connector 17. The intervals are such that until the side plates 21 of a back connector are completely inserted into a circuit pack, a circuit pack connector 17 fits into a space between the connector 17 and the tab from a position where it is engaged with the pin 18 of the back connector, i.e., when the circuit pack is inserted into a frame, the tabs provide the vertical alignment required to first supplement the side plates of the back connector and then for the circuit pack connector 17 to be supplemented by the back connector 20. |
