PURPOSE:To lighten the burden on a doctor, prevent misstamping and a stamping omission, the loss and forging of a prescription, etc., and shorten the waiting time of a patient as to the issue of the prescription. CONSTITUTION:An image reader 1 reads an image of the doctor and registers it in a file 2. The codes of the doctor and patient are inputted through a card reader 10 and prescription order information is inputted from an order input device 3 and stored in a file 15. A processing part 4 edits the prescription order information and doctor information and patient information, taken out of the files 7 and 6 by using the doctor code and patient code, to the output format of an outside prescription and displays the information on the order input device 3 so that the doctor can confirm it. Then the print of seal taken out of the file 2 by using the doctor code as a key is added to the outside prescription and the prescription is sent to an outside prescription output device 8 installed in a medicine preparing pharmacy outside the hospital through a public switching network 9, so that the prescription is printed out. |
