<p>PURPOSE:To provide the high-quality toner which does not generate the stains of copies by continuous copying, etc., by incorporating the compds. having specific structures into the toner. CONSTITUTION:This toner contains the quaternary ammonium salt compds. having the anion components expressed by formula I or formula II. In the formula I, the formula II, R<5> denotes an alkyl group, aryl group or aralkyl group, which may have a substituent; A and B respectively denote (substd.) arom. ring residues. The quaternary ammonium salt compds. having the anion components expressed by the formula I or the formula II has a relative high m.p. and do not melt even at the kneading temp. with the resin during the process of toner production and has an advantage of good thermal stability. The toner is obtd. in the form of fine powder when synthesized by a prescribed synthesis method and is advantageous in terms of filtration and pulverization of the compds. Many of raw materials are relatively low in costs and can be synthesized without producing resin in production and, therefore, the compds. are economically advantageous.</p> |
