INSTALLATION OF LONG SPIRAL MATERIAL FOR OVERHEAD POWER TRANSMISSION CABLE

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a method for installing long spiral material for an overhead power transmission cable by which a burden in the work at a height is reduced and the workability can be remarkably increased. CONSTITUTION:In a method for installing wound long spiral material 12 on an overhead power transmission cable 10 in the wound condition, the long spiral material 12 is linearly extracted from the wound condition and the extracted section 18 is pushed against the overhead power transmission cable 10 and then is rotated in the twisted direction to be wound round the cable 10 while the wound section 14 is wound back. In this way, the long spiral material 12 is installed on the overhead power transmission cable 10.
