The method for electronically locking or opening the safe door by programme memorized in a micro-processor, compares a secret ID number input from the key botton with the ID number memorized in the memory device and operates the system when the two ID numbers are corresponding to each other. The method is composed of generating a key sound and displaying the letters of "SUN SAFE" after generating the key sound and displaying "ON" when the power is input; displaying "ty-EEP" after displaying "TEST" and diagnosing the display device and EEP-ROM; judging whether the calculated parity value is corresponding with the parity value of the EEP-ROM after calculating the parity value by ID number memorized in the EEP-ROM.
