PURPOSE:To obtain the low-price musical sound generating device which can generate a sound without spoiling the sound quality even with compressed data and greatly saves waveform memories as to an electronic musical instrument which generates a musical sound by combining plural DCOs by passing, for example, a musical sound component signal which has a low reproduction frequency band and has a quantization noise easily removed through a train of optimum LPFs having specific characteristics. CONSTITUTION:This device consists of storage means 1 which store waveform data in waveform memories differing in bit precision according to characteristics of waveform data, a musical sound signal generating means 2 which generate a musical sound component signal corresponding to the stored waveform data, a D/A converting means 3 which converts the generated digital musical sound component signal into an analog signal, an assigning means 4 which assigns the analog musical sound component signal converted by the means to an optimum filter means, a filter means 5 which removes the noise of the musical sound component signal assigned by the means, and a composing means 6 which composes a musical sound component signal of musical sound component signals assigned to the respective filters constituting the filter means and sends the signal to a sound system. |
