PURPOSE:To enhance flexibility or windability without deteriorating good conversion to ceramics achieved by heat treatments by forming a composition by combination of mica whose average grain size is in a specific range and methyl phenyl silicone. CONSTITUTION:A heat-resistant insulating layer 2 comprising a hardened composition comprising 10 to 200 parts by weight of methyl phenyl silicone blended with 100 parts by weight of mica with an average grain size of 15 to 30mum is provided on the outside of a conductor 1. Excellent flexibility or windability derived from the unburned layer 2 and conversion of the layer 2 to ceramics through high-temperature treatments can then be achieved. The layer 2, which can be converted to ceramics resistant to cracking or peeling even when wound around a diameter ten times or less of its own diameter, can thus be formed. An overcoating layer 3, provided on the outside of the layer 2 when necessary, is for preventing damage to the layer 2 during the winding process, etc., and a resin layer of polyimide or the like and a winding layer of heat-resistant inorganic fiber such as glass fiber or ceramics fiber are formed when necessary. |
