PURPOSE:To record even such data for requiring the security on an optical card by recording a ciphering key used for recording/reproducing of the optical card to another information recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The information to be recorded is inputted to a personal computer 4 and ciphered in the computer 4 based on the code of a key control IC card 7 inserted into an IC card reader-writer 5. Then the ciphered information is sent to an optical card reader/writer 6 from the computer 4, and the reader/writer 6 records the information on an optical card 1. A card owner carries the card 1 with him in such conditions, therefore, is unable to decide the contents of the information even if the card owner reads the pits recorded on the card 1 by a microscope. The data recorded on the card 1 can be read by the computer 4 only when the card 1 is put into the reader/ writer 6. Then the recorded data re decoded by the code of the card 7 read by the reader/ writer 5. |
