VEHICLE NAVIGATOR

PURPOSE: To provide a device by which highly accurate navigation can be realized. CONSTITUTION: A computer 12 in a device 10 gets access to a data storage medium 14. Data and software are stored in the medium 14 so as to process according to the vehicle navigation algorism. In addition, it is provided with a means 16 for detecting the navigation distance of vehicle. The means 16 may consist of at least one wheel sensor 18. The sensor 18 senses the rotation of a non-driven wheel and generates an analog distance data through a line 20. The generated data is conditioned and the processed data through a line 24 is generated. Further a means 26 for detecting vehicle azimuth is provided. A compass 28 generates azimuth data through a line 30 to determine the azimuth. The computer 12 incorporates an interface card 32 and it receives analog distance data and azimuth data from the means 16 and means 26 through the line 24 respectively. The circuit network 34 of the interface card converts the analog data into digital data so as to allow them to meet the required conditions.
