PURPOSE:To display a current position without using electronic information such as in a CD-ROM with a simple device at low costs and accurately, relating to a regional information display device that displays the current position on a map using a position detection system that calculates the current position by processing the signal from multiple artificial satellites. CONSTITUTION:A medium 7 that shows region information such as a map 7a in advance is changeability attached to a main body part 6, and the medium 7 is provided with a storage means 7b electrical readable, that stores attribute information relating to region information, and at the same time, the main body part 6 is provided with an input means 12 that electrically reads the attribute information in the storage means 7b, a calculation means 9 that, based on the attribute information and current position information from a signal processing means 8, calculates corresponding indication range on the map 7a, an indication means 14 that, according to the calculation result, indicates on the map 7a, and a position matching means that matches the indication point with the corresponding position on the map 7a. |
