PURPOSE:To provide a cordless telephone set in which an uncomfortable sound at the time of antenna movement can not be emitted. CONSTITUTION:In a slave device 1 at the time of communication, when the movement of an antenna 12 is detected by antenna sensors 13 and 14, a microcomputer 10 inputs a signal based on the detection and a received signal transmitted through a radio receiving part 6, and outputs a mute signal to a radio transmitting part 5 and a control circuit 11 in a fixed time. The control circuit 11 inputs mute signal and operates the mute operation of a transmission mute circuit 4 and a reception mute circuit 7 of the slave device 1. On the other hand, the mute signal outputted to the radio transmitting part 5 and a transmitted signal are transmitted to a master device 20, a microcomputer 30 detects the mute signal, generates the mute signal, and outputs it to a control circuit 31. Then, the control circuit 31 inputs the mute signal, and operates the mute operation of a transmission mute circuit 24 and a reception mute circuit 27 of the master device 20.
