PURPOSE:To improve the using effect of energy by making a gas regenerating apparatus compact, and making the entire carbon dioxide-gas-laser generating apparatus compact. CONSTITUTION:A branching pipe 2 is connected to a laser main body 1, wherein a circulating line for circulating and cooling He-N2-CO2 mixed gas is provided in parallel with the circulating line. Part of the mixed gas is introduced into the branching pipe 2 from the circulating line with a blower. The introduced mixed gas is heated with a heater. The gas undergoes contact reaction with catalyst. The separated gas CO + O2 contained in the mixed gas is recombined to CO2 gas with catalyst. NOx and CO are made to react furthermore and recombined to N2 and CO2. The recombined CO2 and N2 are always returned into the circulating line without decreasing the ability of the catalyst. The decrease in laser output is prevented, and the sealed operation for the long time can be performed. |
