PURPOSE:To provide a micro reader-printer which can form a high-definition image by correcting the irregularity of exposure caused by the type of a projecting lens, a zooming position or an illuminating condition and supplying the uniform exposure. CONSTITUTION:The micro reader-printer is provided with the projecting lens 107 for forming the image of a microfilm 106 irradiated with an illumination lamp 101. The image formed by the lens 107 is displayed on a screen 110 through reflecting mirrors 108 and 109 or supplied and formed on a photosensitive drum 114 by being scanned by a scanning mirror unit A. A photometric sensor 115 is provided at a slit 113 regulating light quantity supplied to the drum 114 and a precise correction value is calculated by an arithmetic circuit 116 receiving the output of the sensor 115. Based on the correction value, the diaphragm diameter of the variable diaphragm 107s of the lens 107 is adjusted by a diaphragm control circuit 117 through a diaphragm driving motor 118.
