PURPOSE:To reliably prevent the misoperation of a shift lever with its simple structure without detecting any shift position of the shift lever. CONSTITUTION:A brake switch 60 is connected to an AND circuit 50 of a shift lever device through an ignition switch 54, a car speed sensor 58 and a delay circuit 64. When the fact that a brake pedal is depressed in the state where the ignition switch is turned on when the car speed is low is input, a solenoid 46 is energized. Moreover the ignition switch, a car speed sensor and the brake switch are connected to an AND circuit 52 so as to energize the solenoid when the vehicle is stopped and also when the brake pedal is depressed. In the shift lever device, the shift operation to a R range from a P range or to the P range from an N range is possible only when the solenoid is energized. |
