<p>A rapidly solidified amorphous metallic alloy is composed of iron, boron, silicon and carbon. The alloy exhibits in combination high saturation induction, high Curie temperature, high crystallization temperature, low core loss and low exciting power at line frequencies and is particularly suited for use in cores of transformers for an electrical power distribution network.</p> |
