The cable cuff set comprises a splicing cuff with at least two cable insertion points (St1, St2) having a flange (Fl1) with an opening (OE1) closed by an easily removable wall (Wa). A bypass cuff (BM) with two cable insertion openings (KE1, KE2) is split along its length to divide it into a top and bottom half (Sch1, Sch2).One half of the bypass cuff has a flange (Fl2) with an opening (OE2) which can be brought into alignment with the opening provided by the flange of the splicing cuff.
