<p>Drug delivery emulsions are disclosed containing emulsified particles of a fluorocarbon, an oil in water, a surfactant and a drug solubilized in the emulsion. Compositions and methods are provided for reducing toxicity, increasing the targeting, or selectivity toward certain organs, and increasing the deposition and retention of the desired drug in these target organs, thereby increasing the efficacy of drugs.</p> |
