The roller (2) extending over the entire width of the mould (1) has regularly distributed wiper blades (6) of material (pref. felt) around its rim, with sufficient porosity and solidity to absorb the coating material (10) delivered by a manually operable valve (13) from a reservoir (20).The valve can also be opened and closed by an electromagnetic control (14) when movement of the mould is detected (15). This control also starts the rotation of the roller about its axis (45) by a motor (5).
