Lubricants for bottle conveyor belts

Compsns. for lubricating bottle conveyor belts contains an N-alkyl diamine (I), an organic acid salt of (I) and opt. an organic acid and an ether carboxylic acid.(I) is a combination of N-oleyl-1,3-diaminopropane (Ia) and N-lauryl-1,3-diaminopropane (Ib). The organic acid is malic, acrylic, polyacrylic, maleic, methacrylic, citric, or esp. lactic acid. The ether carboxylic acid is of formula R(OC2H4)xO(CH2)yCOOH (II), where R = 10-20C (esp. 16-18C)alkyl, x = 1-20 (esp. 5-15) and y = 0-5 (esp. 1).The compsns. comprise 60-95 wt.% water, 0.5-5 (esp. 0.5-2) wt.% (II), 1.5-10 wt.% organic acid, 1-20 (esp. 3.5-10) wt.% (I) and 0.6-6 wt.% of an ethoxylated alcohol.
