A method for detecting pneumatic abnormalities of a tyre comprising the steps of: detecting the angular velocity of each wheel, producing a signal proportional to the angular velocity detected directly measuring the pneumatic pressure of only one tyre producing a signal proportional to the pneumatic pressure and arithmetically processing the signals produced in the proceeding steps. A device to which this method is applied is also disclosed.
