The warning device is activated automatically by a control circuit (15), when the IC engine (17) used to drive the generator (21) for charging the vehicle battery (5) is in operation.The control circuit may receive an input from a wheel rotation sensor (23) so that the warning device is only activated when the IC engine is running and the vehicle is moving under control of an AND logic.
