<p>A polyester film comprising an essentially unfilled primary layer and a filled secondary layer exhibiting an improved combination of transparency and handling properties. The filler is silicone resin particles having a volume distributed median particle diameter of 1.9 to 3.5 mu m, which are present in the secondary layer at a concentration of 200 to 400 ppm, in combination with silicone resin particles having a volume distributed median particle diameter of 0.6 to 0.9 mu m, which are present in the secondary layer at a concentration of 100 to 250 ppm. The film is suitable for use in a wide range of applications, particularly for information storage and display.</p> |
