<p>The component materials for the implementation of bimetals are coupled together; the complex is subjected to compaction by rolling, drawing or the like; one then proceeds to remove material in order to provide for insulation between two consecutive junctions and enable heat exchange. The bimetallic pairs can be produced from sheet metal subjected to rolling after being coupled together, or from a tube 21B, in the axial cavity of which are inserted, one after the other and in alternation, cylindrical pieces 25B of the element forming the tube and pieces 23A of the other element of the bimetallic pair; the whole being subjected to drawing, that is, rolling between contoured cylinders; the material of the tube is then removed at sections 23X. <IMAGE></p> |
