Radar-to-video-TV-standard signal converter

The radar signal converter consists of an encoder and a decoder. The encoder converts one or more channel radar signals into a normalised video signal. Two temporary memories have sizes matched to the radar system's data rate and have a degree of filling automatically set to the current data rate and the state of the video signal. The generated video signal contains a header line contg. time, station name, etc., and n data lines. The encoder converts the raw video signals into analog, time-transformed signals. The encoder divides the transformed signals into variable numbers of sections which are written into the data lines. A time transformation factor of the raw video signal written to the data lines is matched to the transmission system's bandwidth. The lines of the vertical sampling gap are not used for the acquisition of the raw video signals. The decoder converts the video signal back into the original radar signal.
