The apparatus is for lightening and miniaturizing of a double-sided optical disc player by separating the turning motor from pickup carriage. The apparatus includes two frames (116)(117) fixed to the brackets (101)(102) by hinges for tilt correction function, two racks (120)(121) and guides (122)(123) for guiding the pickup carriage to play position of the disc, a pickup carriage (105) comprising a force transmission gear (126) and an object lense, a pair of turn table (109)(110) for guiding the turning of the pickup carriage, a cam curve (109a) installed inside of the turn table for inserting of a guide plate.
