DENTIFRICE COMPOSITIONS FOR USING CARIOUS TOOTH TOOTH ROOT DISEASE

An oral composition for the prevention of dental caries and gingival diseases contains 0.01-3 wt.% of plant extracts from myrrha (or myrrh oil), mori cortex, cimicifuga and green tea. The composition has inhibitory activity against streptococcus mutans, Actinomyces viscous and Bacteroides gingvalis and also inhibitory effect of glucosyl transferase. The extraction solvent is H2O, methanol, ethanol or aceton. Pref. formulation of the oral composition is tooth paste, oral cleaning agent, candy or chewing gum.
