Oriented polyolefine films for heat sealed packaging and twist wrapping are obtained by blending under high shear conditions polyolefine and a rosin or resin, preferably hydrogenated to form a concentrate containing from 10 to 90 wt.%, preferably 20 to 60 wt.% of the resin or rosin and subsequently blending the concentrate with a polyolefine and extruding the resultant blend to form a film.
