A process for purifying a peptide synthesized by the solid phase method with high accuracy and high yield in one step, which comprises separating a target amino-terminated maturation peptide from the reaction system containing both the maturation peptide and other end-capped nonmaturation peptides formed in the peptide synthesis according to the solid phase method by immobilizing the maturation peptide chemico-selectively on the carrier by means of a function-terminated linker.
