发明名称 CATALYST STABLE AT HIGH TEMPERATURE, ITS PREPARATION, AND METHOD FOR EFFECTING CHEMICAL REACTION USING THIS CATALYST
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a catalyst which can maintain high activity at >=800 deg.C by preparing a multiple oxide as the carrier having a specified specific surface area and consisting of a mixture of rare earth element-beta-alumina and a precursor which can change into rare earth element-beta-alumina when heated under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:A catalytic active component is deposited on a multiple oxide containing aluminum and at least one rare earth element selected from among lanthanum, neodymium, and praseodyminum. This multiple oxide has at least 10m<2>/g specific surface area. Further, the carrier contains <=1wt.% chromium, strontium and cerium and consists of a mixture of L-beta-alumina and a precursor which can change into L-p-alumina when heated at >=1000 deg.C for <=2 hours or a substantial precursor of L-beta-alumina. The obtd. catalyst has a specific surface area at a high temp. and high catalytic activity.
