PURPOSE:To provide a method for connecting a composite material in which a connecting joint can be simply connected to a tube made of the material molded previously, manufacture is easy and a cost can be reduced. CONSTITUTION:A prepreg in which thermoplastic resin such as nylon, polyphenylene sulfide, etc., is used as a matrix is laminated on a base cloth made of reinforcing fiber, wound in a tube state, heated, pressurized and cured to integrally mold a composite material tube 1. A method for connecting the composite material comprises the steps of again heating the tube 1 to be softened, connecting it with a connecting joint 12, and cooling the tube 1 to be cured to mount the joint 12 at the tube 1. |
