PURPOSE:To provide an ion conductor material capable of efficiently actuating a fuel cell at a lower temp. than the conventional temp. and having heat. stability and high thermal shock resistance. CONSTITUTION:Powder of a solid soln. having a compsn. represented by (1-y)(xCe(1-x)ZrO2)-ySrO (where 0.55<=0.9 and 0.02<=y<=0.1) is mixed with a stabilized zirconia powder in (1:9)-(1:1) weight ratio and the mixture is sintered to obtain the objective ion conductor material made of the resulting sintered compact. |
